Paiement, Flex, Unlimited, renouvellement et remboursements
SecondWire Unlimited
Le forfait SecondWire Unlimited est offert à 14,99 $ CAD/mois, tout inclus (appels, textos, messagerie vocale et service 9-1-1 avec adresse et consentement requis), sans frais d’activation, et est payable avant chaque période de service. Les taxes s’ajoutent (au Québec, la taxe municipale 9-1-1 de 0,55 $ par mois s’ajoute). Tout renouvellement automatique est soumis aux modalités de renouvellement et d’annulation présentées avant la confirmation du paiement.
SecondWire Flex
Flex est prépayé : l’utilisateur ajoute des fonds avant consommation. Les services payants sont déduits du solde. Aucun crédit client n’est accordé et le solde ne doit pas devenir négatif. À 0 $, les services payants sont bloqués jusqu’au rechargement. Le service 9-1-1 coûte 1,95 $ par mois avec Flex, pris sur le solde (au Québec, la taxe municipale 9-1-1 de 0,55 $ par mois s’ajoute); l’adresse 9-1-1 et le consentement aux limites du service sont requis avant l’activation du service vocal. Un numéro Flex inutilisé pendant 60 jours (solde à 0 $) ou 12 mois (solde supérieur à 0 $) est libéré, après deux avis par courriel.
Auto-rechargement
L’auto-rechargement, lorsqu’il est offert, demeure désactivé jusqu’à son activation expresse par le titulaire du compte. Le montant ou la limite applicable est défini au moment de l’activation et l’option peut être désactivée à partir du compte.
Taxes
Les taxes applicables sont calculées selon le lieu de facturation du compte et sont indiquées avant la confirmation du paiement. Sauf indication contraire, les prix affichés n’incluent pas les taxes applicables.
Remboursements
Si le service n’a pas été utilisé (aucun appel et aucun texto), vous pouvez demander un remboursement complet dans Support (« Demander un remboursement »). La vérification et le remboursement sont faits automatiquement, tout de suite; le numéro est alors rendu et le forfait est arrêté. Une demande suivante pour le même compte est examinée et reçoit une réponse dans un délai de 2 à 3 jours ouvrables. Votre banque ou PayPal peut prendre quelques jours pour afficher le remboursement. Si le service a été utilisé, le mois en cours n’est pas remboursé; vous pouvez arrêter votre forfait pour les mois suivants. Les règles de traitement de PayPal peuvent également s’appliquer aux transactions traitées par PayPal.
Changement de numéro
Avant la confirmation du paiement de votre forfait, vous pouvez choisir un autre numéro sans frais. Après l’activation, le numéro ne peut pas être changé pendant 30 jours. Après ces 30 jours, un changement de numéro coûte 4,99 $ plus les taxes applicables. Votre forfait, votre solde et votre adresse 9-1-1 passent au nouveau numéro, et l’ancien numéro est rendu définitivement. Chaque numéro SecondWire a son propre compte : pour un deuxième numéro, ouvrez un deuxième compte.
Billing, Flex, Unlimited, Renewals, and Refunds
SecondWire Unlimited
SecondWire Unlimited is CAD $14.99/month, all included (calls, texts, voicemail and 9-1-1 service with required address and consent), with no activation fee, and is payable before each service period. Plus taxes (in Quebec, the $0.55 monthly municipal 9-1-1 tax is added). Any automatic renewal is subject to the renewal and cancellation terms presented before payment confirmation.
SecondWire Flex
Flex is prepaid: the user adds funds before consumption. Paid services are deducted from the balance. No customer credit is extended and the balance must not become negative. At $0, paid services are blocked until funds are added. With Flex, the 9-1-1 service fee is $1.95 per month from the balance (in Quebec, the $0.55 monthly municipal 9-1-1 tax is added); a 9-1-1 address and consent to the service limitations are required before voice service activation. A Flex number unused for 60 days (balance of $0) or 12 months (balance above $0) is released, after two e-mail notices.
Auto top-up
Auto top-up, when offered, remains disabled until expressly enabled by the account holder. The applicable amount or limit is established at activation and the feature may be disabled from the account.
Taxes
Applicable taxes are calculated according to the account billing location and are shown before payment confirmation. Unless otherwise stated, displayed prices do not include applicable taxes.
Refunds
If the service has not been used (no calls and no texts), you can request a full refund in Support (“Request a refund”). The check and the refund are done automatically, right away; the number is then given back and the plan is stopped. A later request for the same account is reviewed and answered within 2 to 3 business days. Your bank or PayPal may take a few days to show the refund. If the service has been used, the current month is not refunded; you can stop your plan for the following months. PayPal processing rules may also apply to transactions processed through PayPal.
Number change
Before your plan payment is confirmed, you can choose another number at no charge. After activation, the number cannot be changed for 30 days. After those 30 days, a number change costs $4.99 plus applicable taxes. Your plan, balance and 9-1-1 address move to the new number, and the old number is given back permanently. Each SecondWire number has its own account: for a second number, open a second account.

Paiements et facturation
Les paiements en ligne SecondWire sont traités par PayPal lorsqu’ils sont disponibles dans le compte. Toute méthode de paiement additionnelle, si elle est offerte ultérieurement, est identifiée avant la confirmation de la transaction.
Un paiement n’est considéré comme confirmé qu’après validation par les systèmes de SecondWire. Une confirmation affichée uniquement dans le navigateur ne constitue pas une autorisation de créditer un solde ni d’activer un service.
Les forfaits prépayés doivent être financés avant utilisation. Les services payants peuvent être suspendus automatiquement si le solde disponible est insuffisant ou si une vérification de sécurité échoue.
Les remboursements sont traités conformément aux lois applicables, aux présentes conditions et aux règles de paiement applicables à la transaction concernée.
Payments and billing
SecondWire online payments are processed through PayPal when available in the account. Any additional payment method offered in the future is identified before transaction confirmation.
A payment is considered confirmed only after validation by SecondWire systems. A confirmation displayed only in the browser does not authorize a balance credit or service activation.
Prepaid services must be funded before use. Paid services may be automatically suspended if the available balance is insufficient or if a security check fails.
Refunds are handled in accordance with applicable law, these terms, and the payment rules that apply to the specific transaction.
